Sustainable Fish Supply

We believe ocean sustainability is important. IFC is committed to ensuring a sustainablesupply of fish for future generations and all our fish supplies are caught responsibly or in a sustainable way. We are committed to only purchase from socially responsible vendors and our sourcing policy excludes sourcing fish from unhealthy stocks and destructive fisheries. We also engage with key stakeholders to develop a common understanding of the issues facing the industry. IFC was issued the MSC certificate in 2016 and Dolphin Safe certificate in 2010. Traceability & Control in Our Supply Chain

As with sustainability, we ensure that we are able to fully trace all the fish that we buy; able to track through all parts of the supply chain. We can trace from ship to shelf. In this regard, IFC has played a proactive role in collaborating with suppliers, customers and relevant authorities and ensuring that IFC’s fishery products do not contain illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fish.
